Talking Stick Learning Center is an exciting educational initiative that offers young people an environment in which to explore interests, collaborate with others, and be creative.
Why
We believe that learning is a natural process that can be nurtured by giving young people the space and resources to pursue their own interests as they develop basic life skills such as decision making, problem solving and relationship building.
What
We offer day-long programs for ages 4 to 8 and 8 to 11, as well as supplemental classes for teens.
Who
The participants are homeschoolers and their families as well as others who are curious about the benefits of learner-led education.
Where
Talking Stick Learning Center is located at St Thomas Whitemarsh in Whitemarsh Township, Pennsylvania, fifteen minutes from Philadelphia.
History
We have been operating since 2006 by offering a variety of programs for homeschoolers.
Mission
Our goals are to balance sustainability with affordability. and to focus on accessibility.
