Stop Motion Animation & Magnetic Slime
Week of 12/1/2014
Tuesday's class was all about animating. E, F, J, and G used legos and clay to create individual animated shorts. Some took it one step further and compiled their scenes into a short film with sound and transitional slides. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the shows!
Then on Thursday the Maker class got a little scientific: mixing up a concoction that produced magnetic slime. We had a lot of fun with the hands on activity and the inevitable mess it brought with it. Once the mixture had dried sufficiently, the slime was a deep black color like something out of a science fiction movie. Then, using strong neodymium magnets, we were able to pull the slime up into the air and have some fun with it.
