98.1 WOGL will be at the Walk from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.

We'll be hosting our 2nd Annual 5K Walk again this spring and, once again, everything is being organized by 16 year old Talking Stick participant Christopher M. and the organization he founded, Events to Help. Last year was a huge success, and Christopher has even bigger plans for this year, including 98.1 WOGL. You won't want to miss it!

Talking Stick will be partnering once again with Awbury Arboretum to host our 2nd Annual 5K walk. The event will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 830am to 12pm. The walk will start at end at the historic Cope House inside the arboretum, and will include food, music, and face painting.

The cost for each participant is $10 if you register ahead of time; $15 the day of the event.

This 5K is organized by Events to Help, an event and publicity management group specializing in nonprofits. ETH was founded in 2006 by Talking Stick participant Christopher Mrozinski, a local homeschooled teen, as a way to help non-profits in many different fields. In the past ETH has supported organizations like WHYY, ProjectHOME, Water is Life, and Cradles to Crayons. Proceeds from this event will be distributed to Talking Stick Learning Center.
